Phillips Park Mount Pleasant SC

Located in the heart of Mount Pleasant, Phillips Park is not your usual subdivision. There are Oak trees and ponds and tons of shaded areas for the home owners to enjoy. There is a space set aside for an oyster pit and picnic tables all with in walking distance to your piece of Mount Pleasant, SC Real Estate . In fact, the neighborhood, with 17 upscale homes and three posh townhomes, feels very secluded. The cul-de-sac neighborhood on Phillip's Park Drive in Mount Pleasant, SC is not in any way isolated. It is a block away from main artery Rifle Range Road, a link to the Isle of Palms connector and to Ben Sawyer Boulevard, which heads south to the beach and north to the town's central business district.

There are a number of floor plans available that give the community a custom home feel. Local builder Sea Town Homes is constructing the traditionally modeled homes and town homes. While hardly inexpensive, the new construction home priced from $549,000 to $609,000 are reasonable for Mount Pleasant's upscale communities. The homes range from 2,632 to 2,757 square feet. According to the builder, the homes are priced at $225-$230 a square foot. Similar products are $800,000 to $1 million.

Models include the three- bedroom Legare, four-bedroom Anson and three- or four-bedroom Copahee. They're each two stories. Standard exterior include fiber-cement siding, custom trim on the outside, porches and balconies and mahogany doors. The inside has 10-foot ceilings, wireless Internet, Surround Sound, central vacuum system, coffered living room ceilings, heart pine or white oak floors and high-end Viking stainless steel appliances. Lots are 1/10 of an acre.

The 2,632-square-foot townhomes, near the front of Phillip's Park, have four bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths with the master bedroom on the first floor. Each has an attached garage. The kitchens have granite counter tops and Viking-brand commercial range, dishwasher and refrigerator. The master bath has a claw-foot tub, with separate tiled showers, travertine floors and marble counter tops in bathrooms, custom trim package, gas fireplace and prewiring for flat-screen TV and high-end sound system.

Sea Town Homes chose to build single-family houses and town homes in part because of the property's zoning, but also for variety.

This new construction community has marketed Home and town home buyers who want smaller homes than where they now live at the beach, in the Old Village of Mount Pleasant or off S.C. Highway 41. Purchasers include Empty- Nester's and young families.

The Mount Pleasant school district is highly desirable. And the location is a perfect bike ride to Sullivan's Island Beaches.
